WISE International Terms of Use Policy

Last updated: September 20, 2021

World Institute of Scientology Enterprises (“WISE”) is a growing global membership of like-minded business owners, executives, trainers and consultants all united with the purpose to bring about a saner, more ethical, more pro-survival and productive and flourishing world through the dissemination and use of the Hubbard® Administrative Technology.

Your membership fees support that cause, and the benefits you receive are intended to help YOU achieve that same result with your enterprise.

Because we don’t know every one of our members personally however, we have to put in writing some Terms of Use for our websites to help keep understanding at its highest.

With that purpose in mind, there are a few things you should know about what we allow, and what we don’t allow with regard to our websites and our membership.

When we say “WISE”, “we”, “our”, or “us” in this document, we are referring to World Institute of Scientology Enterprises.

When we say “Service” or “Services”, we mean the WISE websites at www.WISE.org, www.WISE.directory and any digital tools or applications embedded in the platforms.

By using our Service you are agreeing to be bound by the following terms and conditions (“Terms of Use”).

WISE reserves the right to update and change this Terms of Use policy without notice.

Violation of any of the terms below may result in the termination of your WISE membership and account on the WISE Directory.

Payment and Plan Changes

1: Payment on your membership is either monthly or annual. To maintain your membership benefits, payment must be current.

2: Any upgrade in membership level will result in the new rate being charged immediately with the new amount showing at the next billing cycle.

3: Downgrading your membership will result in a decrease of benefits, as listed at www.wise.org/benefits and in the WISE Membership Agreement.

4: All fees are exclusive of all taxes, levies, or duties imposed by taxing authorities, and you shall be responsible for payment of all such taxes, levies, or duties where applicable, excluding only United States (federal or state) taxes. Where required, WISE will collect those taxes on behalf of taxing authority and remit those taxes to taxing authorities.

5: Cancellations and Refunds are processed according to our Cancellation and Refund Policy.

Cancellation and Termination

1: If you choose to cancel and terminate your WISE membership, you are solely responsible for properly cancelling your membership. Please refer to our Cancellation and Refund Policy.

2: If you cancel your membership before the end of your current paid up month, your cancellation will take effect immediately, and you will not be charged again. But there will not be any prorating of unused time in the last billing cycle.

  1. See the “Term and Termination” section of your membership agreement with WISE for further provisions relating to termination.

Modifications to the Service and Prices

1: WISE reserves the right at any time and from time to time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, any part of the membership benefits with or without notice.

2: Prices of all memberships are subject to change upon 30 days’ notice from us. Such notice may be provided at any time by posting the changes to the WISE.org  website.

3: WISE shall not be liable to you or to any third party for any modification, price change, suspension or discontinuance of membership in WISE.
